Yes! Protutor is free to use. There are rate limits on AI-generated content to ensure fair usage across all users.
Go to "Upload PDF" in the navigation menu. You can either drag and drop your PDF file or click to browse. The file will be processed automatically and you'll receive a notification when it's ready.
Currently, only PDF files are supported. Make sure your PDFs contain text (not just scanned images) for best results.
PDF processing is done in the background. Text extraction usually takes a few seconds, while AI-generated content may take 1-2 minutes depending on the document size.
Navigate to "Quizzes" and click "Create New Quiz". Select questions from your uploaded PDFs or previously generated MCQs. You can customize quiz settings like time limits, question order, and feedback mode.
Yes! You can retake any quiz as many times as you want. Your highest score and all attempts are saved in your quiz history.
Your score is calculated as a percentage: (correct answers / total questions) × 100. Each question is worth equal points.
Spaced repetition is a learning technique that shows flashcards at increasing intervals. Cards you know well are shown less frequently, while difficult cards appear more often. Protutor uses the proven SM-2 algorithm.
Go to "Flashcards" and click "Review Now" when cards are due. Press Space to flip a card, then rate your recall (1-4). The system will automatically schedule the next review based on your performance.
Yes! You can export flashcards to CSV format or Anki-compatible format. Use the Export button on the Flashcards page.
